Marco is the Managing Broker and Owner of Godwyn & Stone Brokerage which launched in October of 2019 and worked as the Director of Operations for The Picolo-Ramos Team from 2015-2019. Godwyn & Stone is focused on “World-Class Real Estate Service,” and as a part of their pledge to provide that service, Marco’s focus is on attention to detail and open, clear communication. A broker known for his extensive market knowledge, branding expertise, and his unmatched devotion to his agents and clients, Marco has gained the trust of some of the brightest agents in New Orleans. He earns the respect of his agents by working tirelessly on their behalf and by always offering them guidance and expert advice.
Marco also utilizes the latest technologies and is supported by a full-time executive assistant, Raegan Moeller, who shares Marco’s attention to detail and passion for perfection.
Marco helped to orchestrate the explosive growth in sales of The Picolo-Ramos Team and now Godwyn & Stone. He started working with his wife, Brittany Picolo-Ramos, in 2015 and oversaw the rise in sales of their team from $14,000,000 in sales in 2015, to over $31,000,000 by the end of 2018. Godwyn & Stone, under Marco’s leadership and with the help of his team of top producers, is set to reach close to $50,000,000 in sales by the end of 2020. Currently the brokerage has 11 agents and 3 full-time administrative staff.
Marco is deeply connected to New Orleans. He was born in New Orleans and has lived in the Crescent City most of his life. Believing it is important to serve and give back to your community, Marco supports numerous local organizations and charities—including Habitat for Humanity, Next Generation, The New Orleans Mission, Mary’s Song, and others. Marco has also been appointed to Governor John Bel Edwards’s Resilient Louisiana Commission as a member of the Banking, Real Estate, Insurance & Housing Task Force. The Task Force has been tasked with the safe reopening of the economy, and developing short term and long term plans for dealing with crisis and developing a comprehensive game plan for a more resilient future Louisiana economy.
His wife Brittany is the star of the HGTV show “Selling the Big Easy,” which they both hope will become a global hit. Marco is extremely proud of her success - Brittany has consistently been one of the top agents in the New Orleans area, working with friends, family, investors, sellers and buyers since 2013.
When he isn’t working, Marco enjoys traveling, writing music, spending time with his wife and daughter Sophiana, exploring New Orleans for new adventures.
